AlifZain’s founder, Roqaya, was born and bred and lives in Morocco. Sheis immersed in the culture of the country and is a Berber – the original inhabitants of Morocco. Roqaya studied Art History and while working at one of the foremost Art Residencies in the country was able to build up deep relationships with Artisans across the country. Her understanding of Moroccan culture and desire to promote the best of what the country has to offer led to the creation of AlifZain.

AlifZain’s co-founder, Nael, a Singaporean, made Morocco home after having lived and worked in over 25 countries. He is passionate about the country and has made it his mission to showcase Morocco to the world through her amazing handcrafted products.
